At the Grau d'Agde, a typical little fishing village, you can visit the market peacefully every day and stroll from stall to stall or find out about the weather from the fishermen.

In the old town of Agde you will be attracted by the little narrow streets leading to its heart and its weekly market on Thursday mornings. Many speciality restaurants will welcome you to their table for a riverside meal.

At Cap d'Agde you will discover the pleasures of the night on the Ile des Loisirs (Free-time Island) - Discos, Cinema, Fun Fair...) or maybe choose to sit down on the terrace of a bar to watch the fire-works while sipping a drink or eating an excellent glass of ice-cream..

And once you have done all that you can set about visiting our beautiful region - Languedoc-Roussillon - with its different aspects and its many treasures :

• The Canal du Midi (classed World Heritage by UNESCO) and its 9 locks, one of which is round.
• Montpellier, a university town rich in ancient historic monuments.
• La Camargue and its superb horse-rides.
• Or again Carcassonne, a mediaeval city and the conflagration of its fortress.
